Montefalco Rosso - Iannoni

This Montefalco Rosso is mostly Sangiovese blended with Sagrantino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

it is entirely harvested by hand in small wooden boxes. The varietals are vinified separately and macerate for about 15 days at temperature controlled ,then everything is assembled and 20% of the mass does 12 months in barrique and the remainder does only stainless steel . Everything is assembled and aged further 6 months then bottled.

Bold yet soft hearty, leather, menthol, bitter chocolate.
